How much does the Camino cost?

Three honest choices — where you sleep, how you eat, what you treat yourself to — and the receipt adds itself up. No spreadsheets, no surprises in Sarria.

Bunk beds and supermarket dinners — the true pilgrim classic. Your wallet will barely notice you left.

How this is calculated

The per-day prices are the same ones the Camino Mío app uses: albergues €10, hostels €22, hotels €55 a night; self-catering €8, cafés €18, restaurants €35 a day. They reflect typical prices along the Spanish routes.

Your daily total is simply bed + food + extras; the trip total multiplies it by your days. It covers life on the trail — flights, gear and travel insurance are on top.

USD and GBP figures use rough fixed rates (€1 ≈ $1.10 ≈ £0.85) — close enough for planning, not for the bank.

This tool runs on the same data and logic as the Camino Mío app — when you start walking, your plan comes with you. Meet the app
